Being a recommended wedding photographer at Worton Hall means a lot to me as this was the first Oxfordshire Wedding Venue I photographed at. I grew up in Oxfordshire and after making the move back here in 2022, I've found that most of my weddings tend to be very far from home. Having the opportunity to be a recommended and trusted wedding supplier in Oxford is fantastic.
I photographed Emily & Oliver's wedding at Worton Hall in August 2021. Emily was the first Bride I ever shot a wedding for who I already knew from school. This, of course, made the wedding extra special. The church where they had their ceremony was my own family church just around the corner from my mum's house, and I knew a lot of the guests. I repeat - an extra special wedding.
You'll learn that I am quite a sentimental person, and all weddings which I have the privilege of attending stay with me forever.
The Venue Itself
Worton Hall is a modern-barn-style wedding venue in Oxford, and it's a bit of a hidden gem. It's close to transport links and accommodation in the nearby villages, yet somehow when you're there you feel as though you are nestled away from it all.
The venue itself has plenty of onsite parking and a large space to decorate and host fabulous weddings. It even comes complete with on-site luxury accommodation - something I'd always recommend so you can easily retire at the end of your wedding day! I am proud to be a recommended wedding photographer in this Oxfordshire venue.
And of course, it's also host to some beautiful greenery and a small body of water. There are plenty of photo opportunities to be had at Worton Hall.
The Beginning of a Beautiful Partnership
My journey with Worton Hall began when Emily asked me to be her photographer for her and Oliver's wedding. After the wedding, Worton Hall reached out to say they loved my images and wanted to put me on their recommended supplier's list. This partnership reflects not only my dedication to my craft but also the venue's commitment to providing couples with the best possible wedding experience, by pointing them in the direction of local suppliers who know the venue well and whom they can trust.
Emily and her girls got ready at the family home in the nearby village of Kidlington, followed by a beautiful intimate ceremony at St. Mary's church. The venue was set up perfectly when we arrived for the reception, with every detail planned and executed perfectly. I was lucky enough to join in with the festivities and eat with some of the guests, and got to experience first-hand the awesome food and service provided at Worton Hall.
I love building up connections with fabulous venues and awesome wedding suppliers, especially in the Oxfordshire area.
From the cake to the makeup I have worked with a lot of incredible humans out here doing what they love and making incredible journeys for all of their couples. I have a full list of recommended wedding suppliers from the Oxfordshire area (and beyond) to help my couples find the perfect team for their day. A full list of suppliers for Emily & Oliver's wedding is listed at the end of this post.

All in all, Emily and Olivers wedding day was a beautiful one. The heavens opened during dinner (as it does sometimes, in August!) but the rest of the day was beautifully sunny and dry. I love it when things work out like that.
